In a world that seems to be losing hope, we believe the church is to be an instrument of hope to the world. Hope Community Church is a contemporary, multigenerational, multicultural church that is outwardly focused, living on mission for God in the light of His hope. We strive to measure our success by our sending capacity, not our seating capacity, as we send people back into the community and the world to share the hope of the Gospel.
Hope Community Church exists to bring the hope of the Gospel to our community, nation, and the world.
To be a church that equips, mobilizes, and serves people so they can join with Jesus Christ in “making all things new” (Revelation 21:5).
We are committed to seeing the Gospel message transform peoples' lives (Rom 1:16-17).
We are committed to celebrating the work of the Gospel in our lives as well as in the lives of those around us (John 2, Luke 14-15, Acts 5:41).
We are committed to glorifying and honoring God (Psalm 57:5, Rom 15:6-7, Rev 4:11).
We are committed to pursuing community with God and others in a grace-filled environment (Phil 2:3-10, Acts 2:42-47, Heb 10:24-25).
We are committed to creating an environment in which new people feel welcome (Heb 13:2, Lev 19:34). We are committed to proclaiming the Gospel in culturally relevant ways (1 Cor 9:20-23, 2 Tim 3:16).
We are committed to giving our time, spiritual gifts, abilities, and finances to serve the church, our community, and our world as Christ first served us (Acts 20:35, James 2:15-16).
